Garh Jaisal and Canada?
There
is some curiosity and, at times, confusion around Garh Jaisal's
connection to Canada. Well anyone who has researched or visited
Jaisalmer knows that part of the charm is the remote location. This can
impede abilities to connect effectively with the outside world!
The management of Garh Jaisal in Jaisalmer and Eco-Res, headquartered
in Canada, created a partnership to efficiently organize operations
and reservations to better serve guests and travel companies with their
planning. We did this knowing that the most important role for the team in Jaisalmer is
taking care of the guests who are physically at the hotel.
Eco-Res specializes in working with remote, owner operated,
hotels to take care of the sales, reservations management and customer service. This covers both direct inquiries and providing all interactive information for global travel companies.
Understanding the expections of travelers from many countries and
helping them to decide if Garh Jaisal is the right experience is vital
for our success.

After having visited all the other hotels and guest houses in the fort area,my wife and I decided on Hotel Garh Jaisal as it was by far the best equipped as well as being ideally situated on the fort wall with an impressive view of the town below and the lake. Having spent four days in this hotel I wish to say that service and hospitality we received from Mukesh Chouhan and the rest of the staff was exceptional. "My wife, I and another couple just returned from three weeks in Asia. Our travels included Thailand, Cambodia and India to include two nights at the Garh Jaisal in Jaisalmer. It is very rare indeed for me to take the time to write ownership to make comments about management or our experieces at any given establishment. From the moment of our arrival the staff was offering to assist us with all sorts of issues to make our stay more enjoyable. Among other matters, we had the unusual request for clean water ice cubes for afternoon cocktails on the rooftop - no problem. We are residents of Chicago and have done extensive international travel. The staff at Garh Jaisal provided the courtesies that are always expected but not often provided."

I just wanted to thank you for a splendid stay in your beautiful hotel when we visited Jaisalmer in December. We had three terrific days with you and your team. Everything we requested was done for us immediately and with willingness. Your staff are a credit to you and the hotel is really idyllic. I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay with you. We travelled extensively in Rajasthan for 3 weeks and stayed in a variety of hotels.
I have to say that our time with you will remain in our memories when some of the others hotels have perhaps been forgotten.
